BIO: I love rockin venues where the club goers appreciate music of all genres from the 60's-current music genres from Hip Hop :: RnB :: Rock :: Hip Hop samples :: Electro/House :: Soul :: Funk :: Disco :: Electro Funk & Reggae, this allows me creative freedom to think outside the box in which I prefer and mash up random genres together while leaving the club goers thirsting for more.
I'm like a human IPOD with my impressive knowledge of music that started at the age of 10 years old from my older sisters & my mother. I turned my music knowledge into a business at 14 years old when I started DJing as a hobby while making money djing private parties & backyard parties. Around this time I got part time job at Groove Stop Records in Uptown Whittier in which became my musical & business education as well. While working at Groove Stop Records I met the likes of big name DJ's such as The Baka Boys, DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist, Nu-Mark, Vice, Echo, J.Rocc, Babu, Melo D, Warren G, etc. who would come buy records from us. At 25 years old I partnered with the owner of Groove Stop Records and we opened Nerdboy Records in Whittier. Two years later I opened D-SIDE Project in which sold Records, CDs, & Apparel as well as interned at the world famous Delicious Vinyl record label in Hollywood.
I'm currently a full-time DJ and have worked hard to accumulate my impressive resume of gigs by stay focused, & determined. When my DJ career is done I'd like to open a lounge bar and give the next generation of DJs a place to express their musical art and advance their DJ careers the same way certain venues have done for myself.
