The Chainletter

About Me

logo by www.alphabetarm.com
Described by Michael Marotta of Great Scott as Boston's most dangerous band, the infamy of this Hard Rock powerhouse is built on the frenetic antics of their live show. Fronted by the descendent of tight-rope-walkers, Greg Ferreira fearlessly leads his own circus of lost boys living on the edge. Inspired by true to life heartache and ecstasy, The Chainletter explores the depth of their emotions through songs and shows that are both epic and cinematic.
A voice for a marginalized population, the bands songs speak to subjects found in the lyrical canon of Gangsta Rap. Violence, addiction and the problems young punks face inspire The Chainletter to take on the ugliness and create something beautiful. The result is a sonic journey which defies genre or scene.
Having self-released The Blackmail EP and with a full length in production, the band is already generating praise:
"The Chainletter is one of the most exciting bands Ive seen live. They are not afraid to be exposed to their audience in words or performance. Already with a cult-like hometown following, The Chainletters unrelenting drive, unique sound and compelling image have poised them to rise above the local scene."
