About Me

Beagon and Melisande are a husband and wife who have spent their entire lives on a secluded island. Through hunting and gathering and their mutual companionship, they are able to sustain a happy, peaceful existence. After years of living alone on the island, the couple is suddenly caught between two forces, which will change their lives forever.
The first is a town on the mainland, governed by Prime Minister Shae and his Chairmen. The town’s clock tower is on the verge of running down and the Chairmen believe that the island holds the key to keeping it in working order, thus keeping their town from falling into chaos.
The second is a group of mysterious creatures that inhabit the island with Beagon and Melisande. These ancient, glowing beings oppose the idea of more people turning up on the island and threaten human extinction on the land. They look to Beagon to stop the town’s migration onto the island before its too late.
With an extraordinary and wondrous cast of characters and locations, the tale of “The Isle of Succession” touches on the subjects of land ownership, government power, foreign relations, ecology, and immigration. It is a world different from our own, yet familiar in many aspects. Look for “The Isle of Succession” to come out in the latter part of 2008.
Stop the music first!
