Thanks to my mother's taste in music i listened to a lot of Queen, Billy Joel and Santana when i was a kid. At the age of 11 i got hold of my first Hard Rock tapes (Alice Cooper and Mötley Crüe), which started it all. When i was 12 i got into Thrash Metal and Punk, and also attented my first main Metal concert - Holy Moses, Artillery and Howlin' Mad. At that show i also had my first stagediving experiences, and as a result i had my first concussion, haha.. Soon after i got into Death Metal, and at the age of 13, one of my Metal penpals not only introduced me to Grindcore, but also to the great world of Metal undergound, fanzines, demo tapes and tape trading (glued stamps anyone?). I loved everything about it. I was very much into Grindcore back then, but i also had quite a Black Metal period. In general i'm not narrow-minded when it comes to other genres, as i always had electronical music phases in between. But don't get me wrong - i'm very narrow-minded about bullshit music and those who are into it. And yes - i define what's bullshit music! :)
I'm still into most of the stuff i listened to as a kid, and i enjoy quite a lot of Heavy Metal subgenres, but most of all i prefer classic 80s Hard Rock/AOR and Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, mangy Death Metal, metallic Grindcore and quality Goregrind.
