About Me

I love being a volunteer firefighter/dispatcher. I have three great sons who are forging their own way through life. I have a wonderful husband who encourages me in everything I do. I love finding new music to listen to, hanging out with my family and watching dvd's.I worked at Wal-Mart for 11 years so I still enjoy trashing it with those who are still suffering there.I have alot of fun working on my web sites "Girls With Guts" and Crimson Queen". I came up with the concept For Girls With Guts after trying and trying to find shirts for female firefighters. I now also do EMS since there was even less out there for them. After working on that site for so long I decided to start another site for all my other design ideas. That became Crimson Queen. I have a My Space page for that site so visit me there as well. My Interests

Crime and forensics,firefighting,graphic design and music. I completed Firefighter I & II. I have a certificate in Fire Science Technology. I completed S130 and S131, and S290. I have taken Basic Fire/Arson Investigation.

I'd like to meet:

Just about anyone in the fire service and running EMS,anyone with a sense of humor and who doesn't take themselves too seriously.

Music:

Trying to pin down my music is tough. I listen to a lot of classic hard rock(Led Zepplin, AC/DC), I love industrial rock (Nine Inch Nails,Prodigy),rockin blues(Stevie Ray Vaughn,Kenny Wayne Shepherd),alternative(Stone Temple Pilots, Collective Soul,Candlebox),lots of Motown and music my sons recommend(Linkin Park,Kasabian,Scissor Sisters). I've also discovered reggaeton which just makes you want to get up and move.

Movies:

I'm a big Lord of the Rings geek, a big Firefly/Serenity fan, love Tim Burton movies( I have to watch Nightmare before Christmas at Halloween and Christmas...now honestly how many movies cover 2 holidays)...I rent ALOT of movies.

CSI, House, Rescue Me, The Wire and Ghost Whisperer

Heroes:

My husband...he took a 40 year old half finished human being and helped her to become a pretty decent person,although I'll always be a work in progress!
