Giacomo Musella nasce nella primavera del 1973. A soli sei anni imbraccia la prima polaroid che lo "rapisce" per l'immediatezza con cui quei magici quadrati bianchi prendono pian piano luci e colori. Il fascino di immagini "ferme" nel tempo che restituiscono i momenti ed i sentimenti "rubati" nell'istante in cui si impressiona la pellicola...o un sensore. La sua cultura tecnico/umanistica (studia archiettura presso l'Università di Napoli e contestualmente violino conseguendo anche il diploma di solfeggio) unita alla grande passione per le arti contribuisce, nel corso degli anni, alla sua formazione artistico/fotografica. Tra i suoi lavori particolarmente apprezzati quelli legati al mondo dello spettacolo e, in particolare, della danza in cui le sue immagini esprimono con forza e precisione gli attimi, le emozioni ed i colori che danzatori e coreografi trasmettono dal palco.- - -Born in the spring time of 1973, he encountered a Polaroid for the first time when he was six years old. His imagination was captured by those magical white squares and the way that they immediately transformed both light and colour. Photography became a fantasy world for him, yet it was real at the same time. He loved the way that the images came back to life reproducing lost moments and the feelings that would otherwise be gone forever. His technical/humanistic culture (he studied architecture at the University of Naples, whilst at the same time gaining a diploma in violin) along with a huge passion for the arts contributed to his artistic training during these years. Among his works which are recognised all over Italy, the most appreciated are the ones linked to the stage. Especially in the world of dance where he would capture the moments, feelings and colours that the dancers and coreographers put on the stage, creating the images through his vision combined with strength and precision.My WEB Site http://www.giacomomusella.com
