Maurice Andrews born on the hot summer day of June, 24th in 1984 is a star on the rise. The talented Singjay/ Rapper who hails from Portmore, St. Cathrine attended Bridgeport high before transferring to Excelsior High School.It was during these early years that his love for music developed and with encouragement from friends he decided to take the career choice seriously. Since then he has spent a lot of time honing is craft while carving out a niche for himself. Since his debut he has made appearances at several prominent events such as Spectrum 2008 at UTECH, Our World, a popular street dance held on Manchester Ave, DJ Matches (Clock International) Mixtape and was even slated to do a cameo on the latest release of the ART OF WARR double disc by infamous producer Richie Ramus.With over five years experience under his belt Gold has his eyes set of getting a piece of the pie and sees himself as one of Jamaica's top flight entertainers in another five (5) years. When asked about his current projects he told 876radio.com in an exclusive interview that he has a mixtape out and three new singles set to hit the streets in the coming weeks titled "Lead In Skin", "Yardman Pimpin" and "My Life" the latter produced by his road Manager Starr Blaxxx.The talented deejay who sports a very serious persona, said he would like to be afforded the opportunity to get more airtime on the local airwaves, while given an opportunity to work with some of the island's top flight producers and artiste such as Stephen 'Di Genius' McGregor, Don Corleone, Baby G, Richie Ramus, Akon, Bounty Killer, Junior Gong and international superstar Jermaine Dupri hence his relentless drive to always give a 110%.
