BIOGRAPHY
Labillois’ new album “The Allenby Sessions”, produced in collaboration with music producer Brian Gagnon, features his unashamedly heartfelt lyrics, set to his signature rock-adult contemporary sound.
Pascal Labillois is a singer/songwriter with strong ties to his native Quebec. Inspired by the great songwriters, like Elton John, John Lennon, Bryan Adams and Melissa Etheridge, Pascal puts all of himself into his writing, knowing there is something we all can connect with. His first recording, the French-language EP Partir Sans Revenir, was the start of his musical conversation, followed up with his first English language CD The Road To Yourself.
His latest album, The Allenby Sessions, elevates the discourse with powerful rock-infused pop rhythms that carry lyrics that are soulful and authentic, personal and universal. The talented musicians who join Pascal are energized and excited to bring life to the words and music to audiences at great venues throughout Ontario, including Toronto's Rock’n’Roll Heaven, the Opera House, Guelph’s own Songbird’s Café (River Run Centre) including, most recently, the Sunlight Music Festival at the Concert Shell in Guelph, ON.
In addition to his home province and Ontario, Pascal has had the opportunity to perform in cities such as the songwriters' capital; Nashville as well as the live music's capital of the world; Austin TX.
With “The Allenby sessions” album now available worldwide on Itunes, Puretracks, Amazon, Napster, etc. more and more people are recognizing the name Pascal Labillois. As he continues to deliver fresh and creative music that celebrates ordinary heroic people and everyday emotions, his growing fan base is applauding.
