Myspace Backgrounds I am a blessed woman! I have been married to Rob Pierce for 21 years and he is still crazy about me! Hard to believe. That's what happens when two people love Jesus and then each other. We have four incredible kids who blow me away almost daily. I never cease learning from them and being challenged by them to walk closer to my God. I live in Illinois again after living in Minnesota, Ohio and Pennsylvania. It is good to be close to family again. I don't think I want to grow old here though. Especially after this winter - brrrrrrr! Things I love - cooking a great pot of soup for the fam in the dead of winter, a vicious game of "nutsie", worshiping with my family in our home with Court on the guitar and Caleb on the jimbay and hearing Noah and Easton's precious voices, love Easton and Caleb's teddy bear hugs that they give me so generously, love it when Noah laughs so hard he doesn't make a sound but has to slap his leg so he won't pass out, love it when I show up at the highschool gym and Courtney and Caleb stand up and wave at me and aren't embarrassed that I'm their mom, still love volleyball but this old body doesn't perform as well. I really enjoy creative marketing and maybe some day I'll do that in a bigger way. I love the way my husband's face lights up when I show up at the office. I'm addicted to electronic solitaire right now which doesn't make his face light up. I love coffee - especially when I make it at home on my amazing espresso machine that my dear friends Ryan and Christian got me for Christmas. I love teenagers - I don't think I'll ever get over them, but I love going out with good friends without any kids too! Sushi Gauwa in Peoria is one of my favorite restaurants. I am finding great fulfillment in getting gifts for people that I know will blow them away and be really special to them. God is stretching me right now in my walk with him and asking me to take it to the next level. It's hard to seek him first sometimes when you have so many demands - but I know it is the one thing that is worth it!!! I am being blown away by God's word and how it is so alive! Easton and Noah are memorizing scripture right now because they got grounded. At first they looked at it like punishment but within the first hour their spirits started rising up and feeding off the word of God - it has been awesome to watch. They don't feel punished anymore! Jessie has been living with our family for 1 year now and she is getting ready to move out. She has been such a blessing and an inspiration to me. I will miss her greatly! She loves Jesus and his word and I love her for that!
