Sheri Sweet Thang has a voice for radio.She has been a radio personality for over 14 years,starting w/ KQEQ,Kicking 1220 AM,shortly after,94.3 the party,then POWER 94, then Art Laboe took over.She rocked afternoon drive,then got a call from HOT 105 which later turned to Hot 104.7 in Modesto Ca.Then it was on to MEGA 97.9 IN 2002..She launched The Fire and Desire love dedication show in 2006 with 1 ratings for 2 years. That show ended Feb. 2008.Sheri Ortiz has been singing since the age of four and has only progressed in her musical skills.Playing with LOCAL BANDS,and recording with many artists,and producers.Sheri has had the honor of opening for artists such as,Brenton Wood,Evelyne CHAMPANE King,Taste of Honey,War, TIERRA,Malo,Rocky Padilla, and Zapp n Roger.Coming up the Dazz Band August 9th 2008. Following her destiny she will begin touring with En Control. En Control was created by Louie Vallejo (Bass Guitar), Victor De La Cruz (Guitar), Jerry Viallobos (drums), Richard Cruz, OF "THE GANGS BACK", Ruben Gaitan (Percussion) and Sheri Sweet Thang (Lead Vocals). These individuals have brought together a blend of Old School, Funk, R&B and Latin. Together for 8 years these musicians and vocalists have been bringing the heat to the Central Valley.
