i'd like to meet just about anyone, as long as you accept that everyone is different, everyone has there own way (i definitely have mine), and can value people for who and what they are. i don't need people in my life who can't like me and be happy with me and for me for who i am, no strings, no questions, no qualifications. they give me ulcers.addition - if you wanna be my friend, say so. i got like 8 friend requests just tonight, all from bands or people i don't know. STOP IT!! if you wanna know me, talk to me. if you think you know me, talk to me. if you think i might like your music, talk to me.

currently obsessing on the red hot chili peppers. don't know why, but i love 'em, and i miss listening to them, so right now it's all i'm listening to. i love live shows, one of my favorite things to do. if you haven't seen World/Inferno live, you need to. it's like a crazy party in a box. awesome. Gogol Bordello is a must see too. total awesomeness. this is the music in my ipod. i listen to lots of things, if you think you know a band i might like, drop me a line, i always like finding new bands. +(44), AC/DC, AFI, Alkaline Trio, Angels & Airwaves, Avail, Bad Religion, Black Sabbath, Blink 182, Bouncing Souls, Brain Failure, Brand New, Brusiers, Cat Stevens, The Cure, Cute Is What We Aim For, The Darkness, Death Cab For Cutie, Dropkick Murphy, The Dwarves, Emery, Fall Out Boy, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, Heavens, Jack Johnson, Jimmy Eat World, Keane, Max Levine Ensemble, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Modest Mouse, My Chemical Romance, New Found Glory, Nirvana, NOFX, Oingo Boingo, Panic! My friends all know I'm ADD, and it shows in my movie interests. More in the fact that I don't really have them. If I'm in the right mood, I'll watch whatever. I recently saw Apocalypto, and Rocky Balboa, and I liked them both. Had to stop eating the gummy fish at a couple points in Apocalypto, but I would still suggest it. Ok, I like John Cusack films, sci-fi stuff (I loved Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy), romantic comedys, any and all, will usually ar least try watching comedy like Adam Sandler and Jack Black. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't. Monty Python, of course. The Meaning of Life. Everyone is so into The Holy Grail; Meaning of Life is sooo much funnier. Maybe this says a lot about my movie taste; Meaning of Life is a bunch of little disjointed stories and hilariously bad songs, and some talking fish. Yep, that about sums me up.
TV is ok, usually can't hold my attention long enough though. But I LOVE commercials. Guiness commercials are always funny (Brilliant!!) and Mac ads, and I think the Burger King Vegas show one is hilarious. It's probably a bad thing that I can't really get into things longer than a minute, but whatever. Some of them are funny, really.
I love to read. Will read pretty much anything. Am one of those people who reads all the small print on boxes, the labels of cereal and Pop-Tart boxes, shampoo bottles, anything. Can't say I usually remember much concerning the ingredients of shampoo, but it kills the boredom sometimes. I read lots of romance novels. Everything from Nora Roberts and Luanne Rice down to the shit you buy at the dollar store with Fabio on the cover. And sci-fi/fantasy. Piers Anthony novels. And he's got a lot. I like Douglas Adams, Terry Brooks, all that. Have read all the Harry Potter books at least once. I like the Redwall series, the stories of the animals that live in an Abbey. I like to read young adult books, for some reason. Read all the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books, will often just grab stuff fromt the YA shelves at the library. Frankly, I've reread a lot of the stuff I read as a kid too, now that my kid is reading them.
I always end up leaving the library with a stack of books, often whatever caught my eye. And the good library is too far away, I read faster than I usually have time to get to the library. (That's when I resort to cereal boxes.) I read whatever magazines are around, Woman's Day, Family Circle, Maxim, Stuff, Reader's Digest, FHM and Bizarre if they're around. I tend to read magazines like I do books, cover to cover. I don't read fast, but I do read LOTS.
i haven't quite figured out what i want to be yet, so i'm haven't figured out who to look up to, either. but definitely anyone who does there own thing, and is happy in it, hats off to you.
