About Me

For some odd reason something about the city calls me, not the people per say, just the somewhat surreal visions that music, photography, graffiti, and other urban based forms produce.I seem to always steer clear of the crowds, the gritty reality of violence and lunacy that often times dominates this world, but I find solace in the small group of people out there that see things a little different, like I do...I do love to go out to Music shows when they are the more detached underground intimate affairs, When its just you, a hundred or so like minded individuals and the artist, be that artist and Emcee, DJ, or other type of musician. Those are the settings where I can actually feel comfortable around crowds, in contrast to places like malls or churches. As a young kid I was into skateboarding and breakdancing a bit, I grew up in Portland Oregon, times have changed, I am a bit more of a spectator in those areas now, but still have a great love for both of those arts. Now I DJ some when I am inspired, the techs and mixer will always be a part of me, I also play a bit with beats on my computer, nothing too great now but life is a process of learning, who knows maybe in a couple of years I will be decent at that.I also have a huge passion for ruins, urban or whatever, something about ruins and architecture are alluring to me, there is always a risk, most places are private property, and I don't venture out much like when I was a kid... But I am a huge supporter of the urban exploration community and have browsed Infiltration.org for years.

My Interests

Music Music Music!!!!!!---------- Living, breathing, sleeping, eating... History, philosophy, art, graffiti, break dancing, skateboarding, cultures of present and past, ruins, photography, love...

I'd like to meet:

I guess I will say the cliche and say "people like me".But really I am just typically liking to meet people who just want to listen to music and melt off into the cosmos with me....Or to sit up all night, look at stars, talk about anything, and just feel alive. Is that too much to ask?

Music:

Music is the my favorite form of art, nothing invokes what music can for me. Typically I like the more dark and stark textures...My Itunes is packed with a large range, but is typically centered around Downtempo/instrumental hip-hop, Trip-hop, Dub, Downtempo, Reggae, Drum and bass-dubstep, and general electronica. Also Depeche Mode rules all! Martin Gore is my favorite songwriter, go figure, IMHO the best song writer of our age.But that's just my opinion.

Movies:

I love Japanese anime, Old samurai movies... Really am into foreign films, independent films, films with spirit-mood, artistic flow, ect. Also i do have a place in my heart for outlandish stuff like Jack black style flicks.Anything with some emotion....

Television:

A huge documentary fan, ranging from planet earth, history, to Jackass.I do also like that UFC stuff.

Books:

Mostly photography, history, art, nature, ect.

Heroes:

Typically I seem to gravitate towards pioneers in particular arts as heroes I suppose. So my heroes usually are musicians, artists, writers, producers, ect. Also I really respect individuals who make their own grain, create their own realities and happiness. So really my heroes are anyone that I respect!
