*| -- CURRENTLY TRAVELING & WRITING/RECORDING DEMOS -- |*

*| -- Please check out "RABBITS FOR RECOVERY" in my top friends! I have a few I'm helping distribute if you would like one of these ADORABLE HANDMADE SOCK BUNNIES. All proceeds from donations to your "RFR" go to NEDA (National Eating Disorder's Association) & other related non-profits! -- |*

Hello friends, if you are wondering where I'll be if you want to meet up, I will be around traveling this summer. You'll probably know where to find me after you look at the cities & their dates, at least as far as the U.S. goes... Kansas City MO (7/23), Austin TX (7/25), Chicago IL (8/3), Milwaukee WI (8/4)...and then on to Sweden & Denmark. I hope to see a few of you around! Unfortunately, travel had to be cut shorter than expected this summer due to extenuating circumstances & demos are still in progress, thus performing on hold. I had hoped to have a good demo done to my satisfaction by this summer but I'm a very busy & perfectionist lil bitch :P I'm happy to have a nice break from the Twin Cities though & go on a few adventures! ;) Lots of writing & recording/documenting of my travels this summer. All part of the process & eventual tangible result. No promises as to when the music will rise again, but it's coming along slow & steady. I think that's perhaps just the way it's meant to be. All in good time... ;) Site to be revamped & updated with more current information as it becomes available. Things are continually evolving with meditation, reflection & writing...
I began my artistic career when i drew my mom a remarkable picture of a spider when i was one and a half. I began my music career when i repetitively & obsessively played "Ode To Joy" on my grandmother’s piano starting when i was about 6. Then there was a rather long hiatus with intermittent commitment...And i use the word commitment in more ways than one. Now i am buckling down and juggling my remaining free time improving myself as a singer, song-writer & musician in any way I can. I'm continuing to write and record - songs that have been waiting to come out for quite some time. I am eternally grateful for everyone who has helped me along the way, who has encouraged and supported me. Music literally saved me. This is no exaggeration. I know this must be my path, which ever turn it may take, because with the path I was on, I surely would have destroyed myself. Each day is a new day with a new opportunity, and I can't afford not to take it. It's another chance to live every time I touch my hands to keys or strings, and every time I let my voice be heard - a voice that had been dormant for years. Not dormant anymore.

It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been playing
Or how far you’ve been set back, or why
Only how much you want it in this moment
And what you’ll do to get there, with integrity.

You are not delusional. I did in fact have a few songs going on here. I made the decision to pull them though. All of them. If you'd like to know why take a peek at my reposted October '08 blog, "Enjoy The Silence." Thanks to everyone who listened. As I continue my writing and recording process I will most definitely like feedback as well from anyone eager and willing to lend an ear, only through email and in person as opposed to my site at the moment. The music will assuredly return again though.

Words cannot express how much I adore black and white analog photography. Digital will never be able to match the artistry of analog. Thank you Erik.
