My name is Rene Kuticic - Rencha. I play drums since 1989. My first influences were rock drummers like: Ginger Baker (Cream), John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Jon Hiseman (Colosseum), Carl Palmer (ELP), Ringo Starr (The Beatles), etc. Few year later I became interested in more progressive music and more progressive drummers like: Buddy Rich, Billy Cobham, Tony Williams, Alphonse Mouzon, Lenny White, Charly Antolini, Slobodan Stojanović - Kepa (SMAK), Barrymore Barlow (Jethro Tull), etc. I've been playing various styles of music (rock, funk, fusion, jazz....). I also play various percussions since 2001. (bongos, djembee, congas, doumbek...). Today I mostly work as a session musician (studio and concerts) and also give private lessons for drums and percussions. I'm also managing artists (dancers and musicians). I have a percussion group Shah Buzz which performs with bellydancers, but mostly with dance troupe Dancealot. My intention is to play drums till I drop dead. :D
