Flower Powder is a duo dj act performed by Fred A. and Lisah S.Based in France , this French/Swedish duo started in 2001.
Fred is one of the old batch…. Raver in England in the early 90’s with a solid root in House, Techno and Jungle, he took not much time for him to discover the Goa scene and stick to it. In 1995, he first started a dj label based in England called “Smile UK” having in his members a young promising dj from Leamington Spa, a certain Tristan who got his first booking abroad then… He started to mix in 1996 and worked his way through known as “Dj To’o”. In 2001, based in Amsterdam, he joined the “Psychedelic Sceneries” crew and was sent to Sweden to play a festival….
That is when Fred and Lisah met, playing together in a forest, and will not leave each other after this…
They, then, started the infamous “Eatdogshit djs” project in Amsterdam and became one of the main djs sets around during a few years while becoming the happy parents of lovely Moa, their daughter, in 2002…...
Combining excellent skills, feminity and virility, with a wide and long knowledge of electronic music, their mixes flow and set a particular psychedelic atmosphere…. It’s only when the silence comes at the end the mix that you finally realise how far you’ve been transported…...
