I think she knew me as lizard before she even knew my name! As a fellow flautist, she and I clicked rather quickly. Who would've thought we'd BOTH end up dating trumpet players! Now she's engaged to her trumpeter, and I couldn't be happier for her. Now I'm just waiting for my turn lol. Shelby is like sunshine, she can brighten anyone's day. She's one of the best friends I've ever had, and I hope that even though we'll be miles away next semester that we can still find time to hang out. Love ya gurl!"

So, my name is Shelby. I have the best friendship with the Lord. Sometimes, I find it hard to remember that there is someone that will always be there for me. I have always known him because my mom and dad raised me in church. That doesn't mean my heart was always there. I found the Lord on July 10th, 2008. I was saved, and proud of it. I am headed for my Senior year of college and absolutely having the time of my life. I am heading towards a career in Early Childhood Education, and I hope to have a little more knowledge of photography. I absolutely love to take pictures. Black and white ones are my favorite because those are the ones that express emotion and the memories we want to cherish for a lifetime. Speaking of lifetime memories...I have the best of friends. They are my world. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for them and my family. They showed me that there are better things in the world then to stress on the past. Live for the future. That's why I have music. Music is my passion, my hobby. I love all kinds of music. I even play the flute in the band at USCA. Not the best, but it works..and I have fun...I make my own fun, that's what matters. Plus, that's where I met all my friends here. Nothing better than making friends with the same passion. Hey...and we love to dance. Let me tell you, we are some dancing freaks. It makes us forget about the real world, and we just have fun! Hmm...what else is there? I am an outside kinda girl. I love the fresh air. Fishing, camping, anything you can think of to occupy your time. Summer is the best place...but odd thing is, I like to be cold...freezing cold =D...yea, I know I'm wierd. =D I have the best boyfriend. He is my life, my everything. Yup, I said it...he's the one that has been there for me, and I know he will never leave me. I'm pretty much a friendly gal, but if you mess with me it won't be pretty. I love to make new friends. I am very random. I love to cook. I love the rain. Hugs are perfect. Kisses are romantic. I adore quotes. I love to write. I pretty much love everything. =D
