Biography
Joshua Weresch is a songwriter, born and living in Hamilton, Ontario. He sings and plays piano: in 1999, he completed his Grade 10 Piano (Royal Conservatory of Music) examination; in 2004, a B. A. (Honours) in Music and Religious Studies at McMaster University. Since 2008, Joshua has been recording From Shipwreck at home on an inherited ±110-year-old upright piano, his maternal grandmother's. From Shipwreck is a record addressing concord and discord in relationships and due to be released in 2009. The City Fell By Silence (2010) will widen perspective on relationships, connecting the history of the city with its present sorrows and joys.
