“The Prince”... Lionel B. is a Central Texas based unsigned hype. Born in Tallahassee, FL as Lionel Bailey, he picked up a pen and pad at the age of 9. Is the industry ready? Lionel B. has picked up pieces of his complex rhyme patterns from Florida, The Virgin Islands, New York, Germany and Texas. His style is a unique mixture of many other styles, but Texas based. He pushes his complicated verses to the limit, and as many put it, “His wordplay is sick.” Not to forget his harmonizing skills also play a vital role in his compositions. Rapping, or “flowing,” is not the extent of his abilities, but the beginning. Music production was always where his love for music began. Lionel B. is also an amazing song writer for R&B, as well as Rap. This is proven through some of his well known underground works such as, “The Nasty Song,” “Dear Karma", "Tornado” and “Cold.”“ Lionel B. speaks on topics that his life experiences have tested him on. His emotions can be felt in every 16 that listeners hear. Honestly cant nobody touch him. As a solo artist Lionel B. has worked with a number of underground artists from Texas.
