DJ ZUMBI_VAGALUME RECORDSSeu primeiro momento com a música eletrônica foi em Arraial d'ajuda/Bahia em 1994/1995. Após vários anos de estrada tocando em shows de inspiração underground com suas bandas de rock, ZUMBI mergulha definitivamente na magia e no ritual das festas psicodélicas. No ano de 1999 por afinidade passa a integrar a tribo do Universo Paralello desde os primeiros passos da organização, atuando em todas as edições do festival naquilo que fosse designado. No verão de 2002,em sua passagem pelos grandes festivais da Europa toma a importante decisão de se tornar DJ. Já neste mesmo ano faz sua estreia tocando junto com artistas como, Dick Trevor , Swarup e Ekanta, pessoas que certamente influenciaram os seguintes passos do artista. Em 2003 junto com Gustavo Manfroni/aka BURN IN NOISE e dj Swarup, criam o projeto THE FIRST STONE,atuando como percussionista e trazendo vigor e originalidade a apresentação da banda. Desde então, o DJ já tem em sua bagagem várias apresentações que marcaram sua carreira tais como nos festivais: UNIVERSO PARALELLO, TRANCENDANCE, TRANCEFORMATION, CACHOEIRA ALTA, FESTIVAL FORA DO TEMPO e ROOTZ, no Brasil, e também com apresentações em Munique / GER em 2006, Santiago /Chile em 2007/2008/2009 e Londres/UK 2008, e junto com o The First Stone participou de grandes festivais como Full Moon/ GER, Sonica /IT em 2006 e MonteMapu/CL, Glade/ UK e Boom Festival /PT em 2008.E agora no final de 2009 completando 7 anos como dj ,Zumbi juntamente com sua gravadora, presenteia a todos os amantes da musica psicodelica com sua primeira compilacao intitulada Big Stone...reunindo grandes nomes da cena mundial como Tristan,Dickster,Sensient,The First Stone, Ejeck,28,Logica,Swarup,Shove,Xpiral,,Minimal Criminal , Mental broadcast e kronic.Dono de um estilo original e passando longe das fórmulas fáceis , Zumbi é integrante do casting Vagalume Records. In this very year he has his premier playing with artists such as, Dick Trevor, Swarup and Ekanta, people who certainly influenced the DJ's next steps.In 2003, together with Gustavo Manfroni/aka BURN IN NOISE and DJ Swarup the project THE FIRST STONE is created. Acting as a percussionist he brings force and originality to the band presentations.Since then, the DJ has already completed many performances that marked his career, like the ones in the Festivals: UNIVERSO PARALELLO, TRANCENDANCE, TRANCEFORMATION, CACHOEIRA ALTA, FESTIVAL FORA DO TEMPO and ROOTZ in Brazil, and also presentations in Munich/GERMANY in 2006, Santiago/Chile in 2007/2008/2009 and London/UK 2008. Together with THE FIRST STONE was part of big festivals like Full Moon/GER, Sonica/IT in 2006 and MonteMapu/CL, Glade/UK and Boom Festival/PT in 2008.And now at the end of 2009, completing seven years as a DJ, Zumbi, together with his label gives all the psychedelic music lovers his first compilation named BIG STONE, gathering major names of the world scene like; Tristan, Dickster, Sensient, The First Stone, Ejeck, 28, Logica, Swarup, Shove, Xpiral, Kronic, Minimal Criminal e Mental broadcast.Passing far from the easy formulas and playing a Full On Trance with progressive construction, Zumbi is part of the Vagalume Records.
