Music has always been present in my life, and is something that I will like to keep making until the day I die. Temporary residence is a project that was born during 2006 and 2008, time in which I was living in Toronto. At a personal level, I was exposed to many new experiences, one of them; loneliness. In that time solitude, music was not an exception. I saw myself for the first time without my band mates, nevertheless the necessity to make music kept present. During that lapse of loneliness and mixed feelings, I decided to capture the moment in a couple of songs, becoming my first Solo album. Without a doubt Temporary residence it is not my best musical work, nevertheless for me is the most memorable of all, since it captures specific feelings at a given time. In the songs, happy, sad, euphoric and depressing tones can be noticed. Truly that’s what life is all about, or as I like to say; “that’s the fucking way she goes”. Temporary residence is a window where you can take a peek to a very important chapter of my life. Reason being because most of the shit that I’m going to be writing about is more personal and insight thoughts, on top of that is a pain in the ass to write in two languages. La música siempre ha sido parte de mi vida y es algo que espero mantener hasta el ultimo de mis días. Temporary residence nace durante el 2006 y el 2008, tiempo en el cual estuve viviendo en Toronto. A nivel personal estuve expuesto a muchas nuevas experiencias, una de ellas; la soledad. En ese tiempo soledad, la música no fue la excepción. Por primera vez me vi sin mis compañeros musicales, sin embargo la necesidad de hacer música seguía presente. Durante ese lapso de soledad y sentimientos encontrados, decidí capturar el momento en un par de canciones, haciendo de este disco verdaderamente mi primer Solo álbum. Sin duda alguna este no es mi mejor trabajo musical, sin embargo es el más memorable de todos, ya que captura el sentimiento en un momento determinado. En las canciones se pueden notar matices alegres, tristes, eufóricos y deprimentes. Verdaderamente así es la vida. Temporary residence es una ventana a un capitulo muy importante de mi vida.
