The Basta Family

Hi everybody!
The "Basta Family" is a Black Music Crew from north Israel that consists 4 members:
Rasta (Chen Mantzoor) - Artist, MC, Producer.
Gangi (Aviv Fishman) - MC.
Kojak (Liad Ben-David) - MC.
DJ EverGreen AKA Danny Basta (Daniel Zeleniakovich) - DJ.
It all began couple of years ago when Rasta the former of the Basta Family wanted to form a crew that creats Black music and specially Reggae Dancehall.
The name "Basta" is in Hebrew: a stand in the market (not a market like a store, but like a bazzar). The name is "Basta" because the first "Studio" Rasta worked in is hes room that contained a computer and a mic that costs 2 Shekels which is less than 1$, and looks like a "Basta".
After sometime of composing music alone he got to meet Gangi which arranged an event that had lot's of beginner artists and bands and invited him to the show.
Rasta and Gangi got to know and see each other perform, when in the end of that evening Rasta asked Gangi to join him to the the Basta Family.
Gangi immediately agreed and the Basta Family was no longer a one man group but now he got another MC along with him. And Gangi no longer had to rap over other people instrumentals, and now has a producer that makes beats.
As time passed, the crew continued to work and compose original songs which were made all by them selvs. They also performed in small events and got recognition in Karmiel (Theyre Hometown).
In one of the events they got to meet DJ Danny, who is a Black Music DJ from Karmiel. After a few meetings they realized there was chemistry between them and got Danny to join the Basta Family.
Danny who was also interested in producing began to work with Rasta and learned from him to work with the music composing program. And alongside Rasta he is the second man in the Basta production team.
When the Basta Family got more seriously into the music business they also began to perform in more serious events and clubs mostly in north Israel. Clubs like: Luna, Hurva, Gota, Gala, Sky, Kondom, Shmerling, Pachos and the biggest event with Hila Harari in Karmiel Dance Festival known as "Festival Mecholot Karmiel" in front of approximately 40,000 people.
Little by little and it was time to join another member to the team. A long time friend who got more & more into MC'ing joined the Basta Family and hes stagename is Kojak. Kojak who owns a recording studio in Karmiel brought the Basta to an all other level in sound and music quality, cause now they could use a professional studio. Hes studio called "Beit Ha Beat" (House of the Beat) became Basta's official recording & production studio, that is btw opened to everyone.
The Basta Family is getting bigger & greater by the moment, and continues to make music and perform in lot's of events and clubs. The dream is to get signed to a major label, continue and do music for living and as a way of life.
