Hi there everyone and welcome to my page here on My Space. I'm Graham, raised in Liverpool but recently relocated to Lincolnshire, England though I regularly travel around the UK to perform at private functions, weddings and corporate functions. I've been fortunate enough to have also performed fashion show, outdoor concert and theatre work. The main thread of my performance is the different eras of swing music with frequent injections of other popular music genres too. I have been influenced by many different artistes over the years each having different styles which I find healthy for lots of reasons. For instance, when I was growing up at home my mum and elder sisters had music on continually and 9 times out of 10, it would be Dean Martin or Elvis Presley depending on whether my mum or one of my sisters had control of the record player. I think Dean Martin was singing at me in the womb! In my early teens, I clearly remember the moment I discovered a band amongst my sister's tapes and records though I had to listen to them straight after school before they got home from work cos' little brothers weren't allowed to mess with their precious records! You have no idea how terrifying older sisters can be! Anyway, I found a few of these tapes and I could not stop playing them despite the danger and yes, I was hooked! I decided to find out if this band had any other records and saved what little pocket money I had to buy each of their records one by one. They were a local band too called "The Beatles", you may have heard of them. Then I found out they'd split up so I would never see them play but at least individually they were still making music. I've never forgiven one of my sisters who saw both The Beatles and Elvis live in concert! Though it was a special moment for me seeing Wings perform in Liverpool and then meeting up with Paul McCartney and the rest of the band at a local hotel afterwards. That's a whole story in itself. Anyway, back to now. I perform solo using professional backing tracks and also with a live band from 4-piece to an orchestra depending upon client requirements. My aim is to deliver quality music from whatever era, it doesn't matter, cos' quality music stands up whenever it's played.You can click on the pics & video links under my photo to view them and tell me what you think, I'd love to hear from you and make friends around the globe.
