My name is Kajsa Magnarsson and I am Bella Crow.
While studying Singer/songwriting in the spring of 2008, I realized that all the happy up-tempo music I had to make didn't give me a deeper satisfaction. I needed something darker and more honest. But I didn't want anybody to worry my parents and friends..
So I created an alter-ego for myself, I called her Bella Crow. At first she was totally anonymous, but after some time I introduced this part of me to the rest of the world and they accepted us, me and Bella.
The music I make is sentimental, nostalgic and ironic. It's complex yet always founded on something simple to grasp because deep down I think we all have a Bella Crow, a darker side with all the secrets we try to hide.
In the fall of 2008 I met Alexander Lindqvist and he helped me put Bella Crow's folktronic sound together. He is also a member of Bella Crow's sidekicks live: The Raven Masters, together whith Joel Yngvesson. Yngvesson plays guitar and Lindqvist plays keyboards.
You can soon listen to the results of all this on the CD "Bella Crow". At this time, Bella Crow & The Raven Masters are taking these songs on tour in Stockholm!
