I love my Family...

About Me

O.K. I'm 50 now and love my family, 5 children, 5 grandchildren and so I'm thinking pretty "deep" these days. Getting to the age where life is more important than anything else. So part of that life, is my kids and grandchildren! I see them in Las Vegas, Eugene, and Kansas City. So, between that and my wonderful husband and friends. I stay busy. I love to laugh and enjoy what life has to offer. And staying healthy, being close to my best friend, my husband Eddy.I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

My Interests

Grandchildren, and the way they talk!! I love to look at antiques stores, or cozy 2nd hand stores. I love to look at clothes and shop but when I do I end up buying too much. I love road trips in nice cars with "bumping" music. The sun, and walking. Mountains, hiking and looking at nature. I love rocks and gardening, I like the mystery of fairies...It works with my antiques. My girlfriends, hanging out. My husband, watching our favorite t.v. shows, working on our house and boating. Our animals, and of last but not least our children. History is important to me and how God's grace get's us thru trials.

I'd like to meet:

My friends, family...that's all I have time for! But...if I could choose other than that, Tinkerbell!!! And Jesus!

Music:

Talk about diversity, I like some funk, R & B. Sade, too many songs to say. Pink, (her first CD.) Some of TuPac's music, Cheryle Crow, Amy Grant (her old music). Elton John, Tumbleweed Connection and Madman, Earth, Wind and Fire, anything that makes me move or think!

Movies:

Wizard of Oz, Photos of Fairies, The Piano, Antwon Fischer, You know what I like a lot of movies, but I can't remember the name of the titles, duh...

Television:

House...love the Doctor that pops the vicodin. CSI L.V., CSI Miami, Law and Order, Medium, The Ghost Whisper, Three in a Half Men and the Comedy station. I love to watch stand up comedy.

Books:

The Bible, (but I don't read it enough) and any books that have to do with physical or mental health. No Fiction just the facts!

Heroes:

My husband, six years of recovery that's not easy. He loves me with all his heart. People who go thru extensive pain and have the courage to go thru it. The lost of their loved ones, and still have faith. Jesus, he sacrificed for us. My mom and dad, they are very wise. Denzel Washington, not just a normal movie star. He helps others and gets involved, he is down to earth and I think is a compliment to men. And of course Derek Luke for fighting for his career and keeping God in his heart...a true actor. You the man. My co-workers, we go thru a lot together. It's frustrating working for the State and working with our clients, with less and less resources. People that work even tho their jobs are nothing to be proud of. They work because they know the value of taking care of themselves or their families. Fireman, they are brave. (My son-in-law is a fireman) The good Policeman, they are brave and put up with a lot of negativity and heartache.
