I am 32 and live in Algonquin, IL. I am married to the most wonderful person in the world! He's the greatest guy ever. He's so good to me, and he works so hard for us. He works two jobs. He's a warehouse manager full time, and then works part time at Trader Joe's. So, we don't get to see each other a lot, especially now that I am working and working about 45 to 50 hours a week. So, when he's not working, we enjoy spending time together, whether it's alone or with our amazing family or awesome friends. We always have a good time together. Sure, we fight, but since we don't see each other a lot, we really don't have a lot to fight about, and we value the time that we have to be with each other. We are always open and honest with each other to keep those lines of communication open.Since this is my 2nd marriage, I feel like I'm a pro at it now :o) and it's so much better this time. My best advice for anyone who is going to be married soon, or just starting out. ALWAYS, ALWAYS talk to each other. It's so important. Don't lose yourself for anyone. Always be yourself. Who you are with your husband is who you should be with your family and friends. You should always stay true to yourself. Believe me, I learned this the hard way.I have the greatest friends ever. They are the best. Some of us have been through some crap, but we made it through it and we know that we love each other no matter what.I am doing what I want to do, and I am loving it. I am a Restaurant Manager for Qdoba Mexican Grill. I love it! It's a great environment, and the people and team I work with are wonderful! Work is actually fun now, and it's a place where I don't mind going. I am also challenged every single day, which is exactly what I wanted. It's great.I am not able to have babies on my own, so we will be adopting. Because of the new crazy rules in China (that's where we will be adopting from) we have to wait until we are married 5 years, and that will be a year from January, but don't worry! We get to start the process before then. It'll be a year from October when we start it all. I am hoping by Christmas 2009 I will be a mommy! I know, crazy, seems so far away, but really it's not. It'll be here faster than we know. *FINGERS CROSSED* I would like to maybe try an egg donor in a few years after we adopt. I don't want just one child. I think family is so important, so if we could possibly get an egg donor I would be all for it.Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
