About Me

Allow me to introduce myself...
Cool SlideshowsMy name is Gabriella, but everyone calls me Gabby.I will be turning 21 in April, and Im a Junior at St. John's University studying History and Biology.About me...let's see. What defines me? Without a moment's hesitation I'd say Jesus Christ. I am a born again Christian. I love Jesus, and my whole goal in life is to serve him and do his will. Basically what it comes down to is that I am just a young woman that loves Jesus Christ with all of her heart and wants her life to be a reflection of Him. I feel the call on my life to be a missionary.Ever since I was 3 years old, I've had the dream of being a doctor. But as i grow older, and grow in my relationship with Christ, that vision has evolved a little bit. Now I feel the call of God on my life to be a medical missionary. After my missions trip to Brazil (summer '05) and Haiti (summer '06), I realized that for the rest of my life, I want to help those that need it the most and bring them hope by telling them about the love of Christ. I can't wait to see what God has in store for my life. The more i pray about God's plan for me, the more i just want to go out there on the missions field and get started for Christ. After Brazil and Haiti, I'm ready... I'm just trusting in God and waiting until He says go. *Other random stuff to know about me: I'm 1/4 Colombian, 1/2 Puerto Rican and 1/4 Italian (only discovered this recently). So I guess that makes me a ColombiRicanTalian lol. Most ppl call me Gabby, Gab or Gabster, although random nicknames that some ppl call me are Tinkerbell, Bella and Cat (dont ask). I attend the Brooklyn Tabernacle church and sing in the choir.

These are some of my favorite people...Puerto Rico + Colombia + Italy= the perfect combination :-)I have a lot of interests, so get ready. I love to read, I love to watch movies(movie buff!!), but my favorite thing to do is spend time with people that i love and just laugh. I love to make people smile. I basically love to have some good clean fun. I dont need useless things like liquor or drugs or clubs to show me a good time, Im stupid and fun enough to be entertaining on my own lol.I also looovvve sports (especially baseball, football and tennis) and I'm down for watching a good game anytime of day. I love the Mets, I was born and raised and will die a Mets fan. I love anything having to do with Lord of the Rings and X-Men (comic junkie). I love Tinkerbell (as you can probably tell).I secretly love school and learning new things. I'm a geek at heart and i LOVE History, especially American History. I love Nichole Nordeman, Rachael Lampa, Chris Tomlin,Stacie Orrico, Ana Laura, Audio Adrenaline, Tree 63,Jason Morant, Jeremy Camp, Avalon, Delirious, Phillips Craig and Dean, and Third Day. Basically, I'll listen to any type of Christian music.

I'm a big movie buff, here are just a few of my favorites...

I Love to Read!!! I love anything written by Nicholas Sparks...he's an amazing author, including: The Notebook, The Rescue, Nights in Rodanthe, & The Guardian just to name a few. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the Hobbit (J.R.R. Tolkien). Angels & Demons and Deception Point (Dan Brown).The Outsiders (S.E. Hinton). The Left Behind Series (Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye).My favorite books of the Bible are Ecclesiastes, Psalms, James and Philippians
