BIOG- We Formed in 1993 while the Nirvana craze was still going on under the first name "FailureToDisplay" with Riggz on guitar, Jim on bass and vocals and Mondo on drums, split a few years later and reformed without Mondo under new name FecalMatter. Getting a very young Danny drumming for us we decided to be a Nirvana Tribute band after the sad departure of Mr.Cobain. This didn't last long as Riggz(a huge fan of Nirvana's) started to write his own grunge/alternative songs and demo'd them for the band to hear. The band had now become a new and inventive outfit but still putting in a few covers to show there respect to the band who gave them life. Recorded some demo's in 1999 with Consumed(fat wreckchords)Baz barrett, but where never released. Recorded debut e.p in 2000, out on LLT records(available from this website - above the comments box).Still having fun today with the same line up. We have more than a hundred original songs most of which are demo'd so stick around and you might just get to hear them all or get to see us live... if you want too that is. cheers grungeheadz!!
