Lakeland is a Pop/Rock band based out of Raleigh NC. In 2004, some friends got together and started pursuing their dream of music. As the band plays today, they focus on keeping their sound original. From their songwriting, instrumentation, and stage presence, Lakeland is guaranteed to keep your attention.
The band has produced one EP and one full length album. They will be finishing up their concerts in the early summer, and will then take a break to focus on recording a new EP. "Se La Ve My Friend" will be released at the end of 2009 and will be available on iTunes, Amazon, and Rhapsody.
Lakeland consists of three close friends Danny, Jeremy and Aaron. Danny handles the vocals, guitar, and keys. Jeremy lays down smooth riffs on bass guitar, and Aaron sets the rhythm on the drums. Lakeland has been honored to share with stage with The War, Only Midnight, Your Vegas, Yearling, and many more. After years of playing across NC, the band is finally ready to take their music regionally. With the help of their management, the band’s goal of sharing their music is now in reach. The band hopes to bring their music to new fans who can appreciate music as much as they do. With lots going on and a summer ahead, Lakeland is looking forward to their future and the opportunities that await them.
