Nicole Collins is said to have a voice that is distinctive and rich. She began singing at a very young age writing her own songs with many influences. But it was not until she was studying at the University of Maryland that she fell in love with singing art songs and opera arias. Later at the University of Colorado Boulder she began to come into her own and started to let her large sound free.
Recently, she sang in the Die Zauberflote as the Queen of the Night, Serena in Porgy and Bess, sang in Ragtime. In November and December she will be playing Wardrobe in Beauty and the Beast.
