Programmer. Music fan. Knurd. (that's "drunk" spelled backwards...).
Also note that I was born with the name "Gary", and shortly after college I came up with the nickname of "Garance". "Garance" was a word I had never seen or heard of, but it just seemed like a funny "long form" for the name Gary, similar to names like Terry and Terrance. After a few years of using the nickname, I changed my legal name to "Garance". It was only then that I found out that "Garance" is an actual word, and is even used as a person's name (mostly in France, sometimes in Germany).
My last name is really Drosehn, but I sometimes use the earlier spelling of that family name, which is Drosihn.
