Oxjam kicks off on the 1st of April (no joke) this year and continues for the whole rocking month. So whatever music you’re into, from classical to club night, folk to funk - get involved now.
Make music, raise money and help end poverty with Oxjam."
Oxjam is a great opportunity for us all (Venues, Promoters, Bands, Press and Music Fans) to come together and support a great cause - Oxfam by doing what we all love - playing and providing music!!!

What we hope to do at "Oxjam Ayrshire" is provide one source from where all Oxjam events throughout Ayrshire can be publicised and promoted for the mutual benefit of all!! We’ll also generate press/ radio and TV coverage - so the bigger we can make it, the more attractive it becomes!!
We plan to organise some events so keep an eye/ ear out for us or give us a shout if you’re interested in playing.
We’ll also be approaching venues and promoters looking for them to donate some of their takings or make a collection on the night. Feel free to adapt your own ideas - put a tips jar on the bar in your local and for the month of April at every gig each drink costs an extra 10p which goes straight to Oxjam??
The aim is to raise at least £1,000 - if we can promote 20 events throughout April and raise £50 at each, this should be easy!!!
Please make us a top friend - all money raised is for charity and all co-ordinators from this site work as volunteers but we’ll only be successful with your support!
Oxjam is a nationwide event - so lets make sure we put Ayrshire on the musical map!!!
