Manik started djing in 2005 using a little mixer , a discman and an old laptop; These days he was influenced by the upcoming commercial elektro-house scene and learned to mix with it. In 2006 he bought his very first professionnal dj-set. But by the end of that year a rarther unexplored and different music style caught his head and became incredibly passionate by it: drum'n bass. From that moment on he couldn't last a day without hearing the fast broken beats and decided to play no other music style than dnb. The more he digged himself into the exiting world of dnb the more he got addicted. It influenced his school results and other free-time-activities.. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------- In 2008 he began to appreciate the deeper en less exessible end of drum'n bass, aiming his sets more on the soulfull, deep, minimal side, ofcourse without relinquishing a steady uptempo party tune. He also got hooked up by the dubstep scene but decided not to go with the flow and explore this style from a lover-spectator's view.------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ In april 2009 he and 2 friends restarted the weekly Ghent based after school/work dnb concept called Friday Rolling, under lots of approvement from the local dnb lovers; and by giving it an extra touch with some dubstep, hiphop, downtempo etc etc the guys can aim on a broader crowd... ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------For bookings & contact ..
