About Me

Well, first of all, I can quote many movie lines by heart. And yes, I am proud of that fact. I am an outgoing person, but I can be surprisingly shy around some people. I tend to overthink some things. I tend to do things on the spur of the moment. I love The Office, 80s music, the Gap commercial with Patrick Wilson, shopping as a form of therapy, doing the NY Times crossword puzzle, the St. Louis Cardinals, chocolate frozen yogurt, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, too, finding shoes in my size, listening to actual records (as in 33s), learning the guitar, ice skating, finding leftover copies of Entertainment Weekly at the office, Central Park anytime of year, sleeping in my bed, blackjack, going to St. Louis Bread Company/Panera, hitting golf balls, Austin, TX, Chipotle burritos, warm towels, the scent of my hair cream, "Funny Girl", guys with kinda messy hair, guys that make me laugh, and guys that are willing to get up and dance. My Interests

See "about me"

I'd like to meet:

I did this because my sister made me. Now I'm addicted. I don't really want to "meet" anybody unless I already know them. Not on MySpace, anyways. Cute guys can apply. Also semi-cute guys. I'm not that picky. If I used to know you, that's cool. Also, if you want to give me money, I'd like to know you. Or if you're famous and want me to go to a red carpet event with you, I'm down with that.

Music:

U2, Billy Joel, Madonna, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Frank Sinatra, 80's music, movie soundtracks, musicals. Learning to like new music is always a good thing. What can I say? I like what I like.

Movies:

Top 3 in order: Funny Girl, The Godfather, When Harry Met Sally..., Honorable Mention in random order: Reality Bites, The Natural, Moulin Rouge!, Young Frankenstein, An Officer and a Gentleman, Tootsie, The Sound of Music, Sleepy Hollow, Dave, True Romance, Waiting for Guffman and The Princess Bride- Yep, a random, across the board smattering of what makes me tick.

Television:

If you love me, you love "The Office"! Also into 30 Rock and LOST! I have others but lately I don't have enough time to watch them seeing as I already watch enough TV for work! Also, one of my all-time favorite shows was "Freaks and Geeks" on NBC from 1999-2000. I own the DVD. I am that cool. Oh, and I can (sigh) get into almost anything shown on Bravo.

Books:

Um, so I bought "The Painted Veil" to read about a month ago, and still haven't picked it up. I also have the 5th Harry Potter book to read before the movie comes out. Favorites include: Rebecca, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Great Gatsby; mostly classics because I read them before I read anything that's modern fiction.

Heroes:

People who can get up when their alarm goes off.

Too many Diet Cokes make for one restless night...
