BIO -
I thought life was a musical! Ever since I could remember, I always made up my own songs or hummed a tune. My family said that when I was 4 years old, I would sing about my day and how life was tremendously great, or tragically depressing. I remember the days when my grandfather would waltz me around in his living room. I could close my eyes and feel the music go right through me, as he twirled me around and around.
I was born and raised in California, in a small town called Concord. I had lived in that same house until I graduated high school, left from San Francisco State, and transferred into San Diego State College.
Throughout my life, I surrounded myself with music, singing, and dancing. I remember my middle school years when I played the leading part as Sarah Brown of the Guys and Dolls musical – It was such a huge production! Later, my vocals proved to have a large range that I began singing Opera in 4 different languages: Italian, German, French, and Spanish! In my high school years, I joined Concert Choir, Ladies First, Show Choir, and even ventured to sing in a International Barbershop group of 90 women. Our singing groups competed in many cities and states.
Singing allowed me to travel the world and express myself. I was alive on-stage. I think I was born to sing. I hope one day to lay down a CD to give to my mom, dad, and grandparents.
