I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Seriously. That's not my dog, but the flier is hilarious. This is the first time I've actually written about myself in a very long time. I play in 2 bands called Swiftwind and Covered in Bees, respectively. I've also started another band that is in the zygote stage with my friend Anna. It's a Fergie tribute band. We're rated as the best girl-gang rap group in Louisville, according to me. I like to ride my bike, working on a fixed gear! I'm currently also working on my friend James' run for city council in 2008. I may very well end up treasurer, hence my reading up on Kentucky campaign finance laws. I drink a lot of good coffee and a fair amount of alcohol, but not enough to make me an alcoholic. I'm not going to go into ridiculous detail with this, like talking about how I "enjoy long walks on the beach at sunset". Although I do. Yeah, fuck off. I'll walk the CRAP out of a beach at sunset.

My Interests

vegan and vegetarian cooking. not drinking when I don't want to and conversely, drinking when I do want to. bikes and bike rides and diy bike repair. guitars and playing guitar, music and making music and recording music. playgrounds and fountains. road trips with or without a tight schedule. maps and planning trips, even if I never take them. prank calls to friends imitating the friends themselves badly. laughing so hard that I vomit. doing puzzles until the coffeehouse closes. karaoke and singing in general including hardcore karaoke pile on extravaganzas. theme parties. mustaches. unexpected gifts, giving and receiving them, such as the one below. got wood?

I'd like to meet:

I'm also doing a zine of vegan/vegetarian recipes. If you have 'em get 'em to me!!
