I can tell you a few things about myself though, if that would help to paint a general picture of who I could be:
-
I'm a fairly sarcastic person. I can say things I don't mean and mean things that are probably only said between the lines. I have a strange and sometimes sick and/or vulgar sense of humor. So, generally anything that comes out of my mouth should be taken with a grain of salt. (At least most of it... sometimes.)
I'd like to think of myself as someone who is fairly easy-going. I try not to take a good joke too close to heart, but if you insult me (and that honestly would take an extreme amount of sincerity, or complete stupidity,) then I don't think I'll be making any plans to treat you as an equal.
As for being 'easy-going' I also like to think of myself as a fairly down-to-earth person. I'm not someone who will end up on any of the "Girls Gone Wild" videos I'm afraid. So if that's what you're looking for, let me tell you now - look somewhere else, Sparky. I wasn't placed on this earth to entertain you in such ways. Thusly, I do not intend to.
Hopeless romantic? Yeah, I'll admit to that. Valentine surprises, candle-lit dinners, curled up by a warm bonfire listening to the waves break on the beach sands... Anyway! I'm not looking to run through guys like a six pack of Mountain Dew here. (And I love my Dew.) I'd like a serious attempt at truly being happy with someone. So spare me the "friends w/ benefits" and "fun fling" garbahge, yeah? [/sap & fluff]
I love puppies.
I'm a total geek at heart. I wouldn't claim to be the smartest or the best, but I am among the numbers. I'm set on staying a kid forever, regardless of how old the world wants to see me. I'm all about good old fun, in any way really. But I'm more familiar with such pasttimes as mediocre attempts at writing fiction, play-by-post roleplaying, Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy video games. Guilty pleasures include lots of anime and manga... Lots.
I love my job. I never thought I would find a day so soon where I would say it. It's back-breaking work sometimes, but I have an absolute blast everytime I clock in. I don't think I could have asked for more luck in finding such great pay to do something so much fun with undeniably fabulous people. (Any crew out there, holla at yer girl!)
I love my friends and miss them tremendously - which is probably why the hell I'm here in the first place. But I do. I adore them all very much for putting up with my silly nonsense. So here I am, attempting to keep in better touch with old friends and possibly find some new faces to call my friends.
There you have it. What kind of person that paints for you, I couldn't begin to fathom, but I can only hope it's a decent one. If you haven't been put off by all that jargon, please feel free to drop me a line and better define the silhouette of a person you've come to create in your own mind. (Who knows, maybe it will be someone you'll come to call a friend yourself. ;3)
Boot to the head.
