About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4We are the P-Town Elites (PTE), formerly known as SDP. Basically the story behind us is this: Two white guys Angus (aka Prolific) and Nate (aka G-Ro) got together one day about 3 years ago and decided to try and make a cd. the result was "Free G-Ro" (2003), a 10 track attempt at rapping with G-Ro behind the mic and Prolific kickin the beats. Lets just say this album had potential ("fuck will smith keep ur hands off my chest/and no i dont care if ur fingers are at ur hip/tell jada to come suck my dick"), but fell short on so many levels that its not even worth explaining...basically the album was shitty. A few months after "Free G-Ro", Prolific and G-Ro decided to put out a mixtape known as "The First Blood" (2003), with both members behind the mic, collectively known as Stallions Don't Play (SDP). The CD mainly featured mainstream beats with a few from prolific. This album was a notch above "Free G-Ro", meaning it sucked. Next we put out another mixtape called "The Return of the Stallion" (2004). This CD featured prolific and g-ro, as well as N. Bass (norman). Beats were mainstream with a few prolific/n. bass beats. This album showed some growth in lyricsm and flow, but still was a bad cd. And finally, a year later in 2005 "The Stallion Battalion" was released. This cd featured only beats created by Prolific and N. Bass, and had mainly prolific and n.bass rapping with g-ro on about 2 songs. This was our best cd to date, still not that great but showing more growth and potential. Now the PTE is scattered across california...Prolific in SLO and G-Ro in SF. We still freestyle often and record whenever possible. Prolific makes beats daily. The focus and message of our raps is basically smoke weed and go fuckin crazy. here are a few lines from different songs we are currently working on: "i never get sloppy, i got my shit on point, under the seats i got 2 blunts and a joint"-prolific; "Simpily relentless in my approach, got a blunt so big that it light like a torch"-g-ro... The most current music being made from Prolific Music is by Stone and Prolific. Prolific is still putting out beats and occasionally rapping, while Stone is dropping beats and rhymes daily. Currently, we are working on putting out Stone's first cd. go to the Prolific Music page to hear new music at soundclick: Prolific aka The Pro music

Band Members: Prolific aka The Pro musicAngus Cannon aka Prolific aka The Pro: Prolific handles pretty much all production/recording/mixing of songs. He also raps. He is currently living in San Luis Obispo making beats to one day rap to whenever he gets the right gear to record with. Prolific enjoys smoking marlboro reds, blunts, joints, and roor (the bong), as well as drinking beer and playing hot shots golf....Nate Brzovich aka G-Ro: G-Ro is the creative force behind many song concepts. He is also a skilled writer with clever punch lines and explicit imagery. G-Ro is a member of the Medical Cannibus Clubs and enjoys smoking the best marijuana grown on this earth followed up by a marlboro 27 blend.
Influences: Eminem (the first rapper we both were into), Dr. Dre, Jay-Z, 2-Pac, B.I.G., 50 Cent, D12, Obie Trice, Kanye West, Beanie Sigel, Cam'Ron, Dip-Set, Juelz Santana, Lil Jon, Ludacris, UGK, Busta Rhymes, Slim Thug, Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Lloyd Banks, T.I., Young Jeezy, Young Buck, Chamillionaire, Yun-Gun, King, Furioso, T-Nutty, Just Blaze, Timbaland, Mr. Lee...um shit, thats about it...however right now our biggest influence is Lil Wayne aka Weezy F Baby.
Sounds Like: Probably sort of like a Dr. Dre or Eminem production with a hint of lil wayne in flow and lyrics....but really the PTE has a pretty unique sound, theres nothing out there that reallys sounds like us.
