About Me

Wudyup My Name is Beau Croxton and I'm a musician from Rhinebeck,NY. I also reside in Manhattan NY half the time. I am currently in a band called Young Evolver, if you want to hear some of that music we have a three track demo on www.myspace.com/youngevolver. This Page is dedicated to the music i record with my homie Kyle Albano who produces music out of his own studio he made in his basement with a 24 track recording system. He mixes the music, and I construct the songs with some help of a metronome. I record the bass line first to the tempo I set on the metronome ,then the rhythm guitar part while listening to the bassline, then the drums listening to the rhythm track, then lead guitar, vocals and perussion & harmonies after. These are the songs i like to play and sing and perform some of them such as head to toes with my band Young Evolver. I write and sing with our guitar player Dave DeCotiis, and we also have a gnarly drummer Jake Freedman who is well on his way to John Bonham status. One of my tighest compadres Forrest Hackenbrock has his own band Strange Brew. He plays guitar on two of my tracks, a guitar solo on "I Cant be Satisfied" and plays lead on a song i wrote for him called "Its A Forrest F1RE." Head to toes is a song about being a sucker for women. Mick Proud is a tune about not giving a fuck what people think of you as long as your content, satisfied, proud, and a bad motherfucker. I have many other songs I'm working on that should be on the CD soon including a reggae cover of Eleanor Rigby. Although the quality of these recordings is somewhat shitty, i feel I did a good job considering I play almost every role of the band in these songs.
