A little about me... I've been a licensed massage therapist and thai massage practitioner since 1997, and a teacher of bodywork since 2001. I currently teach at two schools in Portland, OR.... Institute of Advanced Bodywork (www.instituteofadvancedbodywork.com) and East West college. I love my work, I don't even call it work anymore... just getting to make people feel better, live a happy life and work smarter.My passion is Thai Yoga massage, and I travel to Thailand yearly to study with my amazing teachers, guides and gurus... Pichest Boonethumme and Derek Del Phayawong. I am eternally grateful for their vision, support and encouragement. I have found beauty in Buddhism because of them.I sing in a contemporary folk and bluegrass band called Cross-eyed Rosie (www.crosseyedrosie.com) and love all types of music. I grew up in the Midwest, primarilty Louisville KY and feel grounded in my roots. I sometimes get to satisfy the rocker in me, and lend my harmonies with the Lewi Longmire Band.I feel lucky to have such an amazing life, and be surrounded by great people and oppurtunities. I think life is too short to be angry, greedy or resentful. Be open to all experiences and try everything at least once.Take time to love, it is the meaning of life...
