ON FEBRUARY 10TH 2008, OUR sweet grandson Carson Mac was accidentally backed over. From the Ponca City, OK Emergency Room, Carson was medi-flighted to Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita, KS. It was determined that Carson's head sustained seven skull fractures and massive trauma. The doctors believed there was only a slim chance that Carson would even survive, but he did!!! The doctors then felt Carson would be a vegetable or close to it, but he isn't!!! On March 25th, Carson was admitted as an in-patient at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, NE. On June 7th, Carson became an out-patient also at Madonna Rehab. Carson had surgery on August 14th to remove fluid from the left-side of his brain which went well. After trying therapy in both Stillwater OK and Wichita KS, Carson and parents are now living in Lincoln, NE where they feel Carson can get the best possible therapy. We miss you guys! Carson is truly a miracle from God to our family. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us in every way imaginable. We appreciate it so much.
