About Me

In 1999, the four thousand year old ancient living monument dubbed 'Seahenge' was removed from where it stood. Seahenge was a still working tree circle...... SEAHENGE LAMENT BY BUSTER NOLAN is the title of our new album, a musical journey that captures the spirit and timeless message of this now destroyed sacred site. The songs on this recording are from poems used in defence of the tree circle, written by Buster at that time, now put to music 10 years on (with co-defender of seahenge- Simon Todd on congas and the gifted guitarist and producer -Adam Hunwicks) tell the story of seahenge as it really is. We hope the memory, spirit and hidden secrets of the sand ring will speak to the dreamer in everybody. UPDATE: THE ALBUM IS NOW AVALIABLE on itunes, please follow the link below. The tracks uploaded here on myspace are samples, and not the full length songs! You can hear 30 second clips from all 11 songs at itunes...
ENGLISH HERITAGES "MUSEUM" FOR SEAHENGE". In a small chapel adjacent to the bus park in Kings Lynn are the remains of "Seahenge". A sad day. The upside down tree in the photo is a replica which bears no resembalance to the original. The atmosphere is very strange in the building, it is like entering "a chapel" of rest to visit a very dear friend, very solemn and heavy. In Holme Bay in the timeless landscape of shifting sands and wild winds "Seahenge" worked for over four and a half thousand years. Hidden from the likes of Invaders , Romans and Christians. Until English heritage came along and tore it from the beach! They have the pieces of "wood" but they have lost "Seahenge".
