Hello everyone! My name is STERGOS it comes from the ancient greek verb "stergo" which means affection.I love music and I am a professional Rock Singer for about 15 years, which means: I LOVE ROCK 'N' ROLL.I am participating in lots of cover bands in Athens and performing around in clubs several times a week.I studied vocals in "Helliniko Odeio" Rhodes department and graduated with the highest grade, also had jazz & blues guitar lessons in "Scholi Mousikis Praxis" in Patras for a couple of years.Currently I am the lead singer of the new born band "VOLT" who will start performing from 7th of May every Thursday at the club "Akrotiri" one of the best venues in Athens at Posidonos avenue. Other bands you can find me in are, of course, my beloved "BAD MEDICINE" (www.myspace.com/thebadmedicine or watch it live at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHcUMbXVrzc) who play 80's & 90's glam rock and just released our first new single "breaking' down", "AIOLOS" (www.aeolosband.gr) playing Classic Rock and "Acoustic Quartet" (www.myspace.com/acousticquartet) playing rock covers unplugged.I am also working on a project for an "AC/DC tribute band" with some members of "The Cadillacs" and the "Dicken's Zoo" band.The band is allready on. It is called "BIG BALLZ" and is THE ULTIMATE AC/DC Tribute band (www.myspace.com/bigballztribute).I was born and raised in Rhodes island of Greece left and studied accounting in Patras,then did a BSc in engineering at the Coventry University.Finally, I ended up in Scotland doing an M.B.A. at the University of Stirling.After my big round for 9 years at places and countries in Europe, I returned to Rhodes and worked in "Colorado Club" and in "Sticky Fingers Rock Club", also played in lots of bars, small clubs and hotels for 3-4 years and then, returned to Athens where I am now, still working daytime as an accountant and ROCK THE NIGHT AWAY!!!!!
