Vanessa & Tywone

Vanessa--I am a 26 year old married woman. I married the love of my life last year June 25th, 2005. I graduated from college in 2004 and am a registered nurse! I felt on top of the world when I finally passed the state boards licensure exam! I work on a surgical floor and I love what I do! It is amazing to me to be able to nurse people to health. You really have to love people and want the best for them because you will meet all kinds of people that can put you to the test! I love being married to my honey. When we met at our church in 2003, I did not immediately know that he was the one for me. But he is the most wonderful man, he took his time with me and always showed me honor and respect. He knew before I did that we would marry, but he waited until I was ready. I am thankful for him being in my life, and he is proof that God answers prayer! I learned that sometimes the answer is right in front of you, but God has already provided the answer for you, and it just takes your heart being ready to receive it!My husband and I welcomed our first child, a beautiful boy who we named Jordan Nathaniel Thomas, because he is our "gift from God." I had a good pregnancy, and a good labor. Now I am enjoying raising our son and helping him to achieve God's purpose for his life.
