About Me

When they first met in 2007 it was immediately clear that Felix, Sebastian and Eric shared a common passion: making music. Though they listen to totally different styles of music, ranging from acoustic music over punk to heavy metal they would describe their feeling when listening to other people’s music with the same word: fun. And for all three it is even more fun to write and perform their own music.
After a few rehearsals in the south of Germany the lineup of the band began to show: Felix, who played drums before, would take on the microphone while playing the guitar, Sebastian, who used to play guitar, would play bass while Eric, usually a guitar player aswell, would complete the rhythmic section on the drums.
You might say that a band, where all members play different instruments than the ones they learned, does not reach the level of technical skills which it could probably have. And you would be right. But cbdr is not about ’technical skills’. cbdr is about fun. The aim is to make good music, which some people enjoy listening to.
And just few weeks after they began making music these three young musicians have already a fine repertoire of songs and tons of ideas for new tunes. Currently cbdr are recording their music and the results of these recording sessions can already be found on this site. These tunes will be used to present themselves to a broader audience and -of course- to gig locations. Making music is cool - that’s for sure. But it’s nothing without playing live.

Forced to have a break.

Just such a short time after publishing "Fast Lane" we are forced to have a break: Eric unfortunately broke his right hand. We all hope that he recovers soon!
