BIO:
Bubs began his comedy career while studying improvisational theater at Chicago's Second City in 2004. He later studied improvised musical theater under Michael Descoteaux, Second City's musical director and stand-up comedy under Dave Odd of Edge Comedy Productions. In 2005, Bubba began a two year run with The Junk Mail Improv Troupe and founded Popcorn Assassin Productions. In 2006, he began his stand-up career and founded the Under Pressure Improv Showcase. During this time, he performed with the 14 Minus 4, Butter, Junk Mail and Recapitulation improv comedy troupes. In 2007, his stand-up career took off. He performed for Comics for a Cure, Children's Memorial Hospital, The James Ginderski Political Campaign, The Edge Comedy Club, The Knickerbocker and many other established venues. He has shared the stage with comedians such as Sandra Burke, Mike Cody, James Freeman, Brian Hicks, Ricky March, T.J. Miller, Dave Odd, Michael Palascak, Tom Simmons and many other talents. Currently, Bubba is the most popular MySpace comedian in both Chicago and Illinois and is the third most popular in the Midwestern United States. His goal is to continue to create fast, controversial, thought provoking yet clean humor that elicits laughs through hilarious observations, satire, parables, word play and intelligence.
