BIOGRAFIA
Umbral es una banda de MetalRock proveniente de la ciudad de Valparaíso, Chile. Sus orígenes se remontan hasta el año 2006 cuando Rodrigo y Sebastián (actualmente los únicos que se mantienen de la formación original) se reunían a tocar música junto a otros compañeros de Colegio.
El tiempo fue transcurriendo y la llegada de Pablo Rivas al bajo y en especial de Nirani Antara a las voces colocó la primera piedra de lo que sería posteriormente la banda, dándole aires más armoniosos a lo que fueron las primeras canciones de la banda. Tiempo después, en Noviembre del año 2008, por motivos personales Nirani abandonó la formación de Umbral dejando el micrófono vacío para que un par de meses después lo ocupara Felipe Lobos. Dando un cambio radical a la banda donde no sólo le agregó más solides a la música, sino que supo mantener el estilo armonioso que el grupo había formado.
De este modo Umbral se presentó a su público mostrando lo que sería su renovada imagen, una banda de MetalRock que volvía con toda la energía a demostrar lo vivo que se encuentra el Metal en la escena local. La fiesta, sin embargo, duró poco puesto que en Abril de 2009, Felipe Rivas (baterista) fue expulsado de la formación por motivos de índole personal. Dejando de esta forma un puesto vacío que en estos momentos ocupa el Sr. Pablo Calbiague.
Umbral por fin ha conseguido una formación estable que espera, con el pasar del tiempo, seguir dándole a Valparaíso acordes que mezclen lo más profundo de los sentimientos musicales de cada uno de los miembros de la banda, para de esta forma y como siempre se ha mantenido: “Lograr de la música una verdadera catarsis”

Umbral is a MetalRock band from Valparaiso, Chile. All began in the year 2006 when Rodrigo and Sebastian (the only two original members left) liked to play some music with their classmates in their school days.
Time was passing and the first stone of what the band would be in the future was placed when Pablo Rivas and Nirani Antara joined the band in the bass and in the vocals respectively, giving the band more harmonious airs in comparison with the band's first songs. Some time later, in November 2008, Nirani left the band due to personal problems, leaving the Microphone free until, some months later, Felipe Lobos joined the band, giving the band a radical change where he didn't just add more force to the songs, he kept the harmonoius style that the band had made.
This way Umbral showed to the public which was their new image, a MetalRock band that returned to the stages with a lot of new energies and the mission of showing how alive was the local metal stage. The party didn't last too long, because in April 2009, Felipe Rivas (drums) was expelled to leave the band because of a lot of personal problems. Leaving Pablo Calbiague in charge of the drums.
Umbral finally has an estable formation which only wants to keep giving Valparaiso chords that merge the most deeper musical feelings that all the members of the band have inside, all for the sake of "Making the music a real Catharsis"
