Aaron Palmadessa

About Me

Aaron was found by music at an early age. Music was lying under his mothers bed, in the form of a guitar case. The contents of that guitar case held the 1963 Goya, dubbed "Charlie" and would be his constant companion to this very day. " Charlie" was his mothers acoustic guitar, given to her on her 16th birthday by her father(also named Charlie).
Through the years, Aaron has taught himself to play several instruments, including: bass, drums, lap steel, mandolin, banjo, harmonica, various percussion, and some keys.
Aarons earliest influences (and probably biggest) are his parents. His father always encouraged him to play and his mother played and sang with various folk groups during the 60's. When Aaron was a baby, his mom would put him in front of the stereo speaker in order to put him to sleep. (he was on a steady diet of strained peas and Humble Pie). This early exposure led to a vast array of influences ranging from Motown to Stax, to the British Invasion, folk, rock, and blues. From Hank to Hendrix and Bowie to The Velvet Underground....it's all in there!
I'm a versatile guitarist/multi instrumentalist available for session work. I'm looking to help fellow musicians out in the studio or in a live setting.
I'm in my early 30's and I have over 20 years experience, including recording and gigging. I am able to morph into various styles at will. My strengths are rock, country, folk, blues, funk, and jam band type situations.
Some of the instruments I play are guitar, lap steel, bass, harmonica, and mandolin (among others). I play quality vintage gear to capture the vibe of your music.
I'm a fast learner and have a great ear/feel. My role is to serve your songs to the best of my ability. Competitive rates.
