Anointed Brother’s

About Me

The name " Anointed Brothers " was thought of on January 1st, 2008. Two very blessed brothers were anointed early inside the womb of their mother Apostle Tamar T. McIver, to grow up as great musicians to go out and play so that God may be glorified. Elijah L. Rouse and Russell R. Rouse Jr. are natural blood brothers born and raised in a Kinston, North Carolina by Ass. Pastor Russell R. Rouse and Apostle Tamar T. McIver. Their grandmothers Pastor Addie M. Prince and Edna E. Rouse blessed them with more anointing as they grew up, by keeping them in prayer and keeping them under the blood. Two brothers who never took notes are much more than talented but gifted from God to play under the anointing. They have been playing together in church for over 12 years, starting at a very young age. Elijah was taught by Alfred Simmons how to play the drums when he was 5 years old and later on in life taught his brother Russell to play when he was 6 years old. Elijah wanted to play the piano/organ when he was 10 years old and started to practice until he became better. While Elijah was learning to play the piano/organ, Russell was mastering playing the drums. The two brothers practiced and played until they became good at being musicians. Their mother Apostle Tamar T. McIver along with her husband Leon McIver, is the pastor of Pentecostal Church of Deliverance located in Kinston, North Carolina. Their mother began teaching them different things about playing for church services, choirs and other things about just being a musician. There mother is anointed in the music field as well as her 2 sons. Russell R. Rouse Sr. is the " Anointed Brothers " father who is the assistant pastor of Bread of Life Tabernacle located in Grifton, North Carolina. Assistant Pastor Russell Rouse who is not a musician, is the president of the male chorus and sings in the mass choir and often leads a song. The " Anointed Brothers" has an older sister Hannah R. Rouse, who plays the saxophone and a younger sister Edna M. Rouse who sings....................................." Our goal is not to show off, or to be seen but our goal is to share our musical anointing with our brothers and sisters in Christ who is able to hear us play. We are not perfect people of God but we strive to be the people who God wants us to be. Our music tells our testimony in ways that people can be delivered and healed just by listening to us play, and thanks to God we have already lived to see many people healed and delivered through our music.
