The Carolinas are a budding area for music, its main cities are growing everyday and labels are taking a hard look at NC/SC for artist. With that said the Carolina Music Awards is one of the major events of the South.
The Carolina Music Awards is something that has been on our plate for a long time and with all that is happening on the music scene in the Carolinas we feel the time is NOW! We are focused on one singular objective, the development of the music industry in the Carolinas, encouraging growth in our music present and future. The CMAs is so dedicated to our mission; we are the only awards show that is donating part of the PROCEEDS OF THIS EVENT TO MUSIC PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN!
The CMAs will focus on the hottest music/artist in the Carolinas (North & South) in most genres; however we will give awards to artist outside the Carolinas as well. This is the official request for your support. We are currently looking for sponsors, advertisers, volunteers and anyone that is interested in supporting the CMAs/music in the Carolinas.

CMAs will be hosting a radio show called Carolina Music Update on WKNC 88.1 FM every Saturday at 9:30 with Miriam, Special Thanks to her for allowing us this opportunity. This show will discuss what’s new with the Carolina Music Awards and what’s new with Carolina Music in North & South Carolina. Look for this show to hit other stations and other markets across the Carolinas
CMAs will be featured in a reality piece called The Greatest “Award†Show on Earth in conjunction with Hamilton Entertainment. Cameras will follow the producers of the CMAs as they work to repeat the biggest music award show in Carolina History.
