About Me

I will eternally be grateful to my Savior. Hopefully that shapes my life. I love to sing. I do it in the shower, car, or at work. Is it annoying? Probably, but half the time I don't realize I'm doing it. Until some guy pulls up next to me in his car after I've been singing my head off. Then I get embarrassed. I also love science. I work as a microbiology researcher. I love my work, and am so glad I have a job that lets me think! I'm a big fan of my friends and family. They help me more than they know. I'm fortunate that I have had very close friends, and my family is the best! I'm so thankful for the positive lessons I've learned from them. Sometimes I feel that everyone else around me is at a disadvantage because I had such a healthy and wholesome upbringing. Our home was full of love, and we laughed at everything. Even when that was laughing at household appliances screwing up, un-fun doctor's reports, and general things that would get most people down. I've learned it is o.k. that I am a country girl at heart. I grew up in the midwest, and I feel very at-home in the kitchen making chocolate cake, noodles, and apple pie. I like simple things more than complicated. I don't need a lot of emotional excitement to keep me un-bored. I like to root for those I love. That pretty much sums me up...

Uhhh...Mozart, Bach, Watson and Crick, Pasteur, the guy that invented the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Fleming, Einstein, Alexander Graham Bell, Edison, Jefferson...

The wedding of the younger people

Yep.  I just married off my younger big brother.  Big brother because he has assumed that role in my life, and yet he is younger.  It is a weird twist of fate. So Jon and Meleah walked ...
